Serving Downtown Orlando Since 2008
Panino's Pizza & Pasta has been part of Downtown Orlando since 2008, serving New York-style pizza and Italian favorites from our longtime home on South Orange Avenue.
Our Story
In 2005, the space at 21 S. Orange Avenue was a former clothing store. Turning it into a restaurant took nearly three years of construction, permitting, and preparation. On June 12, 2008, Panino’s opened its doors in the heart of Downtown Orlando.
From the beginning, Panino’s was a full-menu Italian pizzeria. Pizza and slices were part of a broader Italian-American menu from the day the restaurant opened.
The food was influenced by years of restaurant experience in New York, including Manhattan and Brooklyn. That experience helped shape the New York-style pizza and Italian-American food that became part of Panino’s.
Panino’s remains at the same location on South Orange Avenue where it opened in 2008, continuing to serve Downtown Orlando.
Made the Panino's Way
48–72 Hour Dough
Our pizza dough is made fresh and given 48 to 72 hours to ferment before being stretched.
House Sauce & Hand-Stretched Pizza
Our pizza sauce is made in-house from our own recipe, and every pizza is hand-stretched to order.
Grande Mozzarella
We use Grande mozzarella on our pizzas as part of the ingredients and standards behind our New York-style pizza.
22" House Pies & Our Garlic Knot Tradition
Our 22-inch house pies have been part of our slice display since 2008, and every slice is served with a garlic knot — a Panino's tradition since opening.
Downtown Orlando Since 2008
Downtown Orlando has its own rhythm throughout the day, and Panino’s has been part of it since 2008. We’ve served office workers and crews during the day, Downtown residents and visitors through the afternoon and evening, hospitality workers coming off shift, and the late-night crowd after many other kitchens have closed.
Different times of day bring different people through the door, but South Orange Avenue has remained Panino’s home throughout it all.
